Community Interest

The Droughtmaster project is designed to bring water security to the Northern Riverina region of New South Wales. Developed by Plains Water Ltd and to be funded as a Public-Private Partnership.

• Community consultation in support of public interest outcomes.
• Community stakeholder expressed interest is for the project to deliver water related infrastructure and permanent jobs that create an environment to retain young people in the region.
• To meet community interest, the project will construct sanitation infrastructure to facilitate new urban development, including for Social & Affordable housing.
